COCONUT MEAT VS NUTS

Hi there

I am trying to lose weight and eat coconut meat as my fat--is this the same as continually eating nuts which i am trying to keep to a minimum?

Well, by "as your fat" do you mean as part of the meal template?

Also, coconut is technically a drupe not a nut so you should be good.

Many people get into trouble eating too many nuts. While it would be possible to eat too much coconut, that has certainly not been a big problem for many people. However, I find it easy to get plenty of fat without eating either nuts or coconut meat, butter, flakes, etc. Eggs, fatty cuts of red meat, salmon, olive oil mayo, and avocados are my routine.

Watch how much coconut flesh you're eating, it can be a bit....laxative-like.
