The first few days were accompanied by workouts (shout out to Blogilates!) and I've noticed that working out, if only for 20-30 minutes, really keeps my mind focused on my goal. Wednesday and yesterday were so hectic that I didn't have time for a workout, and although my meals were great, I think it caught up with me today. I'm in college and I don't have Friday classes, so today for lunch I went a little crazy and kept going back to the kitchen for more food (even though it was all compliant food). I think I'm going to head to the gym and work off some of this madness. I'm glad for this Whole 30 because I am aware of things it is teaching me; - protein helps satiate me, and I spend less time thinking about food when I'm not hungry - working out helps my hunger and makes me feel happy, which helps me focus on my goals - La Criox water is almost like a 'snack' and it helps me keep my mind off food (btw, I'm not trying to 'spend less time thinking about food' because I want to wait as long as possible to eat, but after I finish eating a meal, I still am thinking about food. Or if it's only been 2 hours and I randomly think about food, I try to think about something else because I know I'm not hungry, I just want to eat) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
