brittward
I know almond butter is allowed, but I am wondering about a specific brand. Justin's classic almond butter I bought it then a friend I am doing it with said it might not be approved it might have added sugar. Can someone help I don't want to eat something not approved! I am working hard at this whole eat clean thing! (: Nutrition Facts Serving Size: 2 Tbsp. GFChris
We are hesitant to recommend specific brands, as ingredients change and can vary by region. Look at the ingredient list to check whether all ingredients are compliant. If you still have a question, post the ingredient list here.
GFChris
Whoops, I see you edited your post to add the nutritional info and ingredients. The ingredients list is what to look at for Whole30 compliance. I'm confused by 'other ingredients' - is there another ingredient list on the label? GFChris
If those two ingredients are it, this product is ok.
brittward
Ok thanks! EVEN though it still has 2g of sugar in the nutrition label? I mean I think it is natural sugar but I am no expert lol
shortystylee
The 2g of sugar could just be naturally occurring. I have almond butter, the Whole Foods store brand, that only has "almonds" as the ingredient and it has 2g of sugar listed in the nutrition data. kellymarie
Can you have justin's natural almond butter if the two ingredients is Almonds and palm oil only BUT its made in a peanut facility and it might have trace amounts of peanuts or soy due to shared equipment? I hope i don't have to start over
Karen_Suep
Those warnings are for people are highly allergic to those things. For w30 you're fine.
