Wine

LOL A gin&slim was a big part of mine on a Saturday & that's exactly why I had to give it up. The anticipation of the first Saturday was harder to deal with than the actual event if I'm honest & I felt so pleased with myself when I woke up on the Sunday knowing that that was one more hurdle I'd crossed. Every day is an achievement of sorts - just keeping clocking the days up one at a time and you'll be fine.... :)

You can handle four Fridays out of your life without wine, I know you can. And after that, you might not want to reintroduce the habit. Reevaluating my relationship with alcohol is one of the best things to come out of my Whole 30 experience.

Good luck. You can do it!

Yes, I've read the rules but was just hoping you would say ok. :)

A glass of wine on Friday was a big part of my week....and I miss it.

LOL!  Sorry....your first sentence there made me snort at work.

Try to sort out what you like about the wine ritual (the downtime, relaxation, luxury, quiet time, whatever).  It probably shouldn't matter what is in your glass if you are serving your emotional needs.
