lcs75
Hello, Over the decades I have had recurring issues with cramps - mainly in my calves - which normally gets better by taking magnesium. This has started waking me up at night again. Do I need to start my supplements? Is it just a phase and it will change? Thanks, Leila
missmary
many people are deficient in magnesium. Personally, even with an excellent diet, I find I have to supplement. maybe you do too. I would try the supplement again and see if it helps.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted March 15, 2015 Moderators Share Posted March 15, 2015 I get everything I need through food, but take supplements too. Nothing helps. I still get cramps occasionally. I used to read different articles that told me confidently what I needed to do to make my cramps stop. I've done nearly all of them without lasting results. I don't have problems very often, but cramps are something I have come to accept as something I must endure every few months.
peace_positive
I got rid of mine with magnesium & potassium supplements, and adding sea salt to food and sometimes water. The combination of electrolyte replacement seemed to be what I needed.
