Keefinator
Anyone have some feedback on my eating plan? Here is the scoop: I get up around 3:30am and work until about 1pm. I start off my day with an organic coffee, coconut cream, and oil. I was starting by doing this with a handfull of nuts and berries, but I started reading the whole30 book a bit more and looks like I am just setting my hormones up to burn ready carbs instead of stored. I don't want to start eating food until about 8am since I would like to only eat three times a day as suggested. My wife and child are up for regular hours during the day and we are all doing the whole30. I am trying to stay on a eating schedule with them. Any ideas? I go to sleep around 8:30-9. Is the coffee okay to do or should I do something else? FYI: I work out 4-5 times weekly so that might factor in as well. Thanks, PK
Administrators ladyshanny Posted March 16, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 16, 2015 The suggestion for eating every 4-5 hours still stands...and if you happen to be awake and active for more hours, you can certainly eat! If I was you I would eat M1 at 3:30am, M2 at 8am, M3 at 1pm and a M4 at 6pm or whenever dinner time is with your family. That 4.5 hours between getting up and eating breakfast shouldn't go unnourished and no, just the coffee isn't enough. If you cannot stomach a full meal at 3:30, go for a mini meal of at least protein and fat, ideally also veggies (maybe 2 eggs, some sweet potato and an apple or a small dish of leftovers from the night before?) Keefinator
Awesome, I will try it out and see how it works. I have done it for the last two days, seems to be better but I will give it a bit of time. Do you think I can still do the pre and post workout meals along with 4 meals? I don't want to eat too much. thanks,
