Miracle Noodles - what do you think?

The Whole30 invites us to embrace nutrient-dense eating. It seems as if Shirataki noodles are the opposite of nutrient dense. Make some noodles by peeling zucchini squash with a julienne peeler and get some nutrition with your noodles instead.

I wouldn't bother with it Laura (hi by the way, am also UK based, in London :) ) - I've read mixed reports about those noodles. I know some people love them but I agree with Tom, I'd rather substitute veg instead rather than having a pretendy food.

If I want something like that I get a veg peeler and peel carrots and courgette into thin shards, flash fry or steam for a minute and use as you would pasta/noodles. :)

After googling courgette for pictures, yes. Wikipedia says, "The zucchini or courgette is a summer squash which can reach nearly a meter in length, but which is usually harvested at half that size or less..."

Glad to know what courgette is! I have seen it in posts before but never took the time to look it up. Thanks!
