Moderators ShannonM816 Posted March 22, 2015 Moderators Share Posted March 22, 2015 It's hard to say what you're lacking if we don't know a little more about what you're eating, how much water you're drinking, or how active you are. If you list a few days' worth of that information, we can see what might be going on. In general, dehydration can cause muscle cramps, so be sure you're drinking at least 1/2 oz of water per pound of body weight (so a 120 lb person would need at least 60 oz of water). If you're lacking magnesium or potassium, that could cause it. It can be a side effect of some medications, so if you're taking any, you might look at the possible side effects for them and see if that's the cause. RuthintheDesert
Same thing here. I wonder if calcium is an issue.

jmcbn
Same thing here. I wonder if calcium is an issue. If you're eating enough leafy greens, broccoli & sardines calcium shouldn't be an issue.
