Craving junk food!

I'm only on day two and I want junk food so bad I can taste it.  I just got home from work and had two spoonfuls of almond butter, that kinda helped.  I felt this way yesterday afternoon as well but by evening I was so happy that I didn't give in.  I am going to try and focus on that feeling and hope it comes around again tonight.  This has made me realize how much mindless food I was eating before yesterday!

Up your fat intake at each meal & this should help you feel satiated for longer & help curb your cravings. It takes a few days to figure out just how much you need to eat at each meal, but in the meantime try not to resort to nut butters & fruit as this continues to feed the habit.

Keep focusing on that happy feeling & soon enough it'll all come naturally!

I love the idea of thinkng happy thoughts.  I think you are right about the nut butter, thank goodness that was the last of it.  I won't buy anymore for 28 more days :).  What is the best way to add fat to my meals?  Thank you for you reply, this site has been tricky for me to navigate around in.

Olives, avocado, and any form of coconut are good ways to add fat. You can also make mayo or all kinds of sauces that you can add to food. Try something like a chimichurri or Moroccan dipping sauce (scroll down, it's at the bottom under the chicken recipe).

 

For this or any other questions you have, the best way to find them in the forum is to google Whole30 + whatever you're looking for -- so Whole30 fat or if that gets too many results, try Whole30 forum fat.
