I'm a college student, and I just got back from a term abroad in Paris, where my (normally pretty good) eating habits slid a lot. I gained a few pounds, my sugar dragon has gone crazy, and my relationship with food has gotten pretty lousy (I have a history of eating disorders and sugar tends to trigger the binge-purge cycle). I enjoyed the food in Paris, but I definitely noticed how much worse I felt--both physically and mentally--when I was eating a lot of sugar and dairy, drinking too much wine, and not getting enough protein.
