Lilly's first whole 30

This is my first whole 30. I'm very excited and super determined to complete this with my husband. My mother-in-law was in a big motor vehicle accident last year & is very lucky to be alive. Due to this we put a lot of things aside including our health. But at the end of 2014 we realized how badly we needed to start looking after ourselves again so we can be strong for ourselves, each other & our family. We started eating a lot better and I have managed to keep up with my exercise routine :-) I'm hoping doing the whole 30 will help me clean up my diet even more, especially with my cravings.... I'm also hoping that doing the whole 30 will really help me with my energy levels. I'm really excited to see how I will feel at the end of this adventure :-D

Day 3 - my tummy is feeling better (had an upset tummy first 2 days) which is awsm! Butttttt I'm really craving some bad foods & im feeling like such a zombie. I have no energy :-( I only did half my workout circuit yesterday because I was so tired... I'm hoping I'll be a lot more full of energy in a week's time. If I do whole 30 again I'm not going to have a major carb binge fest for 2 days before I start... Very bad idea! Bring on the next 27 days :-D I CAN DO IT!!!!!!

Today is day 6. I found days 4 & 5 very very hard but made it through. I'm still feeling tired but I'm not feeling as grumpy and so easily agitated. I am not feeling very motivated to exercise which is odd for me but am hoping I get that energy in the next few weeks. The mayo recipe I found on whole30.com has really helped me with some recipes :-D

Day 8. I'm definitely experiencing the bloating they talk about on the timeline! I look pregnant :-P it's very uncomfortable. I feel like my cravings have gone but we'll see how I go over the next few days. Feeling a little tired today but a lot better then the first few days :-) I'mreally enjoying learning how to make more things in the kitchen too!

Day 15 - I was full of energy the last few days but for some reason today I'm really tired and have been super hungry. I feel like I just keep eating.. :-/ I was also a bit disappointed because I found out the bacon I've been getting has some sugar & preservatives :-( damn...
