DevonMrs
Hi - I've only just started my first w30 today. I've just made a lovely salad, I have prawns and avocado (plus other salad) and I added compliant home made Mayo. Should I have had the Mayo AND the avocado or have I doubled up? Many thanks for any advice.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted April 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 6, 2015 As long as the foods that pass your lips are compliant, you are doing the whole30. The recommendations regarding fat sources and quantities are just strong recommendations. As far as your question regarding how much fat, you could have certainly done mayo and avocado, no problem, it's pretty hard to overdo fat. kirkor
It's fine; the recommended amounts in the template are minimums. It may take a bit to fine-tune your meal sizes so they keep you satiated for 4-5 hours as the guidelines advise.

MTNan
There is a lot of learning that goes on over the course of the 30 days, don't expect to be an expert on day one. My first week looked a lot different than my last week! Stay with compliant foods, listen to your body, be gentle and patient with yourself. This forum is a great place for support and questions- reach out as often as you need to! And good for you, for starting this journey!
