BDub
Hi all! I am on day 8 of my first ever Whole 30. So far it's going well. I've already been gluten free for several years and have been pretty conscious about what I eat. But I have to say my biggest challenge yet has not been the food changes but eating 3 big meals a day and not snacking. I've been used to eating small amounts when I'm hungry throughout the day and Im having trouble regulating that. I get full quickly when I try to eat a big meal so I then find myself hungry in a couple of hours. I usually don't like stuffing myself when I eat but I'm finding that's the only way I can stay full for more than 2 hours at a time. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, how are you working through it? Thanks!
Krista Billows Rodriguez
Make a template meal, eat what you can comfortably consume and then pack away what's left. If you're truly hungry later bring out the leftovers and finish them off. Your body will adapt to eating enough at a meal to satisfy you for 4 to 5 Hours. Remember too, eat within an hour of waking, and nix the coffee -if you drink it. Coffee is a big appetite surpressant.
