PamelaG
Has anyone found a Whole 30 compliant brand of cocktail onions? Although I can find pickles without any sulfites, I have not been able to find cocktail onions. I love to use them in tuna salad - tuna, mashed avocado instead of mayonnaise, chopped celery - I always added cocktail onions when I was not on the Whole 30 because they are tangy and crunchy. I have tried using pickles or just onion and a splash of vinegar but it's just not quite the same.

SpinSpin
Dill pickles should be without sugar--but sweets and bread and butter pickles will have sugar, unfortunately

Munkers
We've found dill pickles at Sprouts without the sugar. Was kind of surprised to see the cheapest varieties were the ones without the junk!
kirkor
I have tried using pickles or just onion and a splash of vinegar but it's just not quite the same. Have you tried pearl or boiler onions? Maybe the smaller size would have a more similar flavor? Could also try leaving them in a jar for a while with some vinegar & seasoning, like making homemade curtido.
