FierceFabulousConfident
Hello! Today is day 8 for me! Yahoo! Anyway, for the first 5 days I made myself eat 3 round meals with no snacks. I felt so full in between meals it was hard for me to get the others down. I am usually hungry for breakfast in the morning, but I am not hungry for lunch and dinner. I use the smaller portions for the meal map, never the larger. I felt as if I would explode! This past weekend, due to timing and running around, I only got in two round meals and a mini meal each day. It felt SO much better to me. I wasn't as stuffed and I was just slightly getting hungry by my second meal. My question is this: Do I lessen my portions and continue doing 3 round meals? If so, what would I lessen them to? OR do I do two round meals and a mini meal (making the mini meal a full meal if I am hungry). OR do I just have to tough it out and feel so full it hurts? Thank you for your suggestions and help! Physibeth
I would stick with the minimums of the food template for 3 whole meals. It takes a while for you to be able to fully trust your body's signals. Knowing your personal context pretty well it might take your body the whole 30 days to embrace the food you are feeding it. The template is designed to provide optimum nutrition which is why we recommend that you don't eat less then the minimums. I know it feels like a lot now but I guarantee you will adjust. Also make sure that when you do a mini meal that it is protein and fat and vegetable. Keep fruit servings to full meals and if you are feeling too full to finish your minimum template servings of protein, fat, and vegetables then leave fruit out entirely. That was a very good article and you are right, with my history I don't know what my body really is saying. I will continue with three round meals and cut out the fruit if I am feeling too full to eat it!
