Fireweedinak
We've read some posts which say nuts only every other day. We are confused. macadamia nuts and hazel nuts are on the recommended fat list. Should they be kept to only every other day as well as all other nuts? Laura B
Nuts are too easy to over-eat, so limiting yourself to every other day, every 2 days, once a week, etc. helps you keep them in check. The other fats mentioned are better than those that come from nuts. Coconut oil, olive oil, avocados, etc. are all great to eat on a daily basis. missmary
to be clear, the whole 30 doesn't have any prescription on "every other day" "once a week" etc for nuts. It suggests nuts in moderation as ok on the plan. It is up to you to figure out how to make moderation happen.
