I find I really don't need milk substitutes, but if you want almond milk for some purpose, the best option is to make it yourself. Just almonds, water and maybe a pinch of salt. But you're right, even though those ingredients are not banned on a Whole30, they aren't making you healthier. Best to try and make it yourself.
