goldilocks71
I'm on week one and have had a horrible headache every evening. I don't drink caffeine because of health problems so that's not the issue. Anybody have this problem and does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not sure I can keep this up!! Nothing gets rid of the pain!!
missmary
Is the whole30 a big change in how you are eating? What have you taken away that you typically had frequently before?
LifZGr8
I'm on day 3. I woke up with a headache and can't seem to shake it! It could be caffeine, but what else might trigger it?
missmary
we couldn't possibly guess what caused your headache without knowing more, but here are my top three suspects: 1. Your used to eating processed food or artificial sweeteners regularly and your body is coming off those chemicals 2. You aren't drinking enough water so you are dehydrated, causing the headaches 3. You aren't eating enough. Do any of these seem likely to you? If it's 1, just give it some time and this should subside. For 2, drink more, for 3, eat more. I hope you feel better soon. kirkor
And 'dem electrolytes: when people cut out processed stuff you can end up flushing sodium, potassium, & magnesium. You can add them on their own (salt, lite salt, mag supps) or eat foods that are good sources (spinach, avocado, etc).
