BaconLegs
I put "a lot" in quotes because it's usually one a day, and not every meal, but I LOVE sweet potatoes. They're cheap, they're delicious, and they're incredibly filling and easy to make. I'm on a very strict food budget, so I usually buy a lot of sweet potatoes in addition to other veggies I can afford. If you're inactive (I put a hold on the gym until I got this food thing under control. I didn't want to take on too much at once.) are sweet potatoes still a decent food to eat? Thanks! Like I said, more often than not it's one a day.

BaconLegs
Baconlegs - can you afford proteins, too? Yep! I design my budget around protein being the priority so I always get the palm sized serving a meal. The rest of my budget is for veggies, fruit, coconut milk, and the occasional bag of almonds.
