Mssaramarie
This is my third round of Whole30 and this time around I have been wondering if I am eating enough. I am eating a lot less than before and I can go for hours in between meals and I am still not hungry at the next meal. Out of curiosity I tracked calories for two days I am eating about 1200-1400 calories a day. I know that calories isn't the main focus here but is it possible to not be eating enough? Overall I feel great but I am concerned about my body going into starvation mode.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted April 27, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 27, 2015 We'd really need to know what you're eating to know if you're eating enough or not -- could you list a couple of days' worth of meals for us? Calories don't really tell us much.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted April 27, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 27, 2015 Calories is actually not the focus at all, in fact quite the opposite. Calories don't tell you anything about nutrients or satiety. Have you seen our meal template? *linked in my signature below. Are you following it? Do your meals last you between 4-5 hours without starving in between? Are you eating within an hour of waking? As Shannon says above, go ahead and post some information about your intake (include portions), fluids, exercise, sleep and any other issues that might be relevant and we can help you to take a look.
