jkmetsy
I'm so happy to say I'm here! I read the entire Whole30 book in a few days, but it took me a few weeks to truly commit. I decided to do it because, for years now, I've suffer from hypothyroidism. You name the symptom, I've got it, and let me tell ya, it's been a miserable existence over the past 7 years. Mostly because I thought there was only one way to treat it. Since August of last year, I've been researching, learning, hiring and firing doctors, and coming to terms with what I need to do to keep myself healthy. Needless to say, I feel more courageous with all this knowledge, but my diet has been an absolute mess. I heard about Whole30 through a friend, and it led me to the book, which led me to here! Today is Day 1, and it's almost over, but I stuck with the 7 day meal plan, and my fridge is full of veggies, fruits, and meats. I feel good, too. Just knowing I'm feeding my body foods that will help and not hurt is elating! Ultimately, I'm here for me. I want my life back. I want freedom from the cravings, freedom from emotional eating, and freedom from feeling terrible. Here's to fresh starts! (And full tummies!) ♡ Jenny
