amylyzz
I know that fruit in general is suppose to be a small part of the Whole30? Are prunes, raisins or dried fruits compliant for occasional use? Thanks.
jmcbn
Yep, compliant for occasional use with, or as part of a meal, but not recommended for snacking - particularly if you have a sugar dragon to slay... Snacking in general is discouraged anyways.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted April 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 29, 2015 I know that fruit in general is suppose to be a small part of the Whole30? Dried fruit is a pretty big sugar hit, especially if overeaten or eaten on their own. I use dried fruit in my cauli rice, a bit of currants and raisins (Sunmaid in Canada is compliant) for the texture but beware eating it like candy. Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted April 29, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 29, 2015 I only use it as an accent/condiment, because it's so easy to just start chewing ...
