MelissaMcGinness
Hello, I'm on day 4 of the Whole30, and I wondering if I have to start over if I haven't eaten all my meals balanced such as... protein, fat, & veggies? For example I ate 1 boiled egg, 2oz ham slices, potatoes, half grapefruit, and black coffee but forgot my veggies and fat. I'm either forgetting my veggie or my fat. I'm still learning and sometimes i'm not prepare or I run out of time. I know I will get there... it's a learning curve.
AmyS
That's fine, we expect a learning curve. Carry on. Also, check your ham ingredients. I don't know of any ham in the U.S. that is compliant. If you're outside the U.S. you may have compliant ham available.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted April 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 29, 2015 The template recommendations are just that, recommendations, not rules. For best results, follow the template. But as long as you have not eaten anything non compliant, you are still on Whole30. Second what AmyS says though, compliant ham is a myth. MelissaMcGinness
It was cured with water, dextrose, salt, sodium Phosphate, and sodium nitrite. I thought these ingredients were okay.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted April 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 29, 2015 Dextrose is a sneaky term for sugar, sorry. No-go. http://whole30.com/downloads/whole30-sugar.pdf
