charis
Hi all, I reintroduced beans yesterday, and last night and today I am completely and totally EXHAUSTED, although I had pretty awesome energy levels all through my whole30. Just wondering if the tiredness is a known legumes problem? If it helps, here's what I ate yesterday: B: grain free porridge & banana L: small chicken salad, broccoli with hummus, grapes and apple with PB (all natural/no sugar) D: nachos: root veggie "chips", chicken breast, salsa, black beans, chives & guacamole. Thanks!
kirkor
Looks like a high carb/low protein/low fat day which would be a recipe for tiredness regardless of the beans.
charis
That could be, I guess, although (and I should have specified!) the porridge is a nut meal porridge, so I would think plenty of fat- but you're right, not a ton of protein there.
AmyS
Yeah, you didn't really have breakfast. That's probably more to blame than the legumes.
