slpowers
I'm a bit confused about balsamic vinegar... according to the plan, it is allowed; however, it seems most balsamic vinegars contain sulphates which are a total no-no. Would some please clarify this. Thanks!
GFChris
It's added sulfites that you want to avoid. If sulfites are included in the product's ingredients list, then it's off limits for a Whole30. Alternatively, if sulfites are not in the list, and elsewhere on the label it says something like "contains naturally occurring sulfites" then it is ok for a Whole30. As a side note, this question has been asked and answered previously on the forum. Easiest way to search the forum is from Google. Type Whole30 followed by whatever you're looking for, and you'll get links to previous discussion threads on your topic of interest.
slpowers
Thank you - and yes, I found the answer a couple of days later in the forum. There's a bit of a learning curve when first starting so hopefully I won't continue to ask redundant questions. Sorry!
