Puppercakes
Hi, I am on day 4 and besides being tired, I have not been hung over or cranky. I am starting to worry that I am not doing it right. I am just eating meat, Fruit, Veggies, and fat. Like the program calls for. I HATE veggies so I am starting slow. I have had either carrots, spinach, zucchini, green beans with every meal. I am also only water. What could I be doing wrong?
Administrators ladyshanny Posted May 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 6, 2015 Sorry you aren't feeling well. Can you post a few days of your meals (include portion sizes as they relate to your palm/thumb), meal timing, fluids, sleep etc? With some more relevant information we might be able to help you tweak.
GFChris
Assuming you're referring to the time-line? Just because you aren't feeling what is outlined on the time-line doesn't mean you're doing it wrong. Rejoice in that you're not feeling poorly! If you want confirmation whether you are doing your Whole30 correctly, post a few days worth of your food log, including portion sizes. We can give you feedback as to whether you're on the right track.

GFChris
It's great that you're eating more veggies now than you have been. I advise you to play with different seasonings, spices and cooking oils to bring flavor to vegetables. Keep experimenting. Overall, it looks like you're doing ok. Here are the suggested tweaks I have:- try to get closer to 8 hours of sleep- when eggs are your sole protein, the serving size is the number of eggs you can hold in one hand without dropping them. For most folks, that's 3-4 eggs.- I realize you're working your way up to eating vegetables. Try not to let fruit push vegetables off your plate. Fruit is optional on a Whole30. Try to get in at least 1 cup of veggies per meal before adding fruit.- The post workout recommendation is protein and carb, no fat. The turkey patty is fine for your protein. A whole egg is not the best choice, as the egg yolk counts as fat.Are you feeling satiated with your meals? You want to get to a place where a meal satiates you for 4-5 hours. Puppercakes
Thank you for that. I was so nervous I was doing it wrong. I am looking at recipes for more veggies, I really want to be a veggie eater at the end of this. I grew up on fast food = ( I do feel satiated most of the time. Every once in a while I get hungry and have to snack but not much. I used to eat every 1-2 hours. so my body is getting used to it. Got it! Thank you go much for the tips. I really appreciate it.
