Day 12 - slippery slope this afternoon

So its day 12 and the afternoons are still difficult. I was eating small snacks in between meals to keep my hunger down but I know I need to stretch myself and do without. I made it through the morning with only breakfast and lunch but here it is 2:30 and I feel my urge for snack coming on already. I have boiled eggs, a banana, an apple and some cantelope. Does anyone know what the best choice would be to get through till dinner and help up my energy level ?

 

Other than that I feel great !!! Better sleep, clearer skin, looser clothes and much clearer mind.

are you eating enough fat with your meals? I eat so much in the morning that I don't think about food again until lunch! I have only have to "snack" once in my 7 days, and I think following as close to the meal plan as I can is helping with that.

 

What do your meal 1's look like?

Now is your urge to snack based on a hunger signal (meaning are you actually hungry) or is it just based on a desire to snack.

 

If you are actually hungry - go for the eggs and the cantaloupe.

 

If you are not hungry and are just "snacky" go for a short walk or have a mug of tea.

I did have some olives with lunch along with my green beans and a turkey patty. I'm starting to get a headache which leads me to believe

something is off. I really was bad about grazing all day before and I am trying to change that habit but I don't want to fall off the wagon because of my head hurting. I will try the egg & cantelope at 4:00 and see if that gets me through till dinner. Wasn't sure whether to try just fruit or protein too.
