Hello.  I am new to the Whole30, but am super excited to start.  I am 30 years old, and have unexplained joint pain (RA style, but Rheumatoid marker negative), migraines, and idiopathic condylar re-absorption (which isn't a word, but I am loosing the battle with autocorrect).  I am hoping to get some insights into which foods are tripping up my immune system and I believe I can do anything for 30 days.  Here goes!

Thanks for replying.  I am a vegetarian, so bone broth is a no-go.  I love eggs and soy protein, though the soy has been ditched for this 30 days, obviously.  I also have had a whey protein smoothie every morning for probably the past 8 months, also ditched.  I am so glad you asked about protein.  What are my options other than eggs, while doing whole 30?  I am learning to love chia pudding and to flax seeds on everything, nuts in everything, though I see a lot of posts and replies that reference nuts and seeds in food as not adequate protein.  Really I just want to be careful with the eggs a little because I see that eggs are recommended to be cut out for auto-immune folks.  I am not cutting them out, but figured that was a good hint that quadrupling my egg intake at the start of these 30 days would likely have negative effects.

Thanks for any feedback.

Here's your shopping list,  you might have it.  You can include your own items into this recommended list. Nuts are fats so eggs are recommended for protein and fish.  But I see that fish, bone broth are a no-go.

Do you need to follow an auto-immune version?

There's the egg/nightshade free list.
