RoseMeg451
What is a good fat to eat with eggs or sausage 1st thing in the morning? (I know, I'm having a hard time thinking outside the breakfast box.) No clue what sauce is yummy with eggs. (Also, I don't like avocados) A common breakfast side is seasoned roasted sweet potatoes.
kirkor
Depending on the sausage it may have enough fat already. And you can cook the eggs in ghee or coconut oil.
SpinSpin
I like egg salad for breakfast -- hard boiled eggs, onion, salt, pepper, chopped celery--what ever you like in your egg salad--and I scoop it up with celery sticks or have it on cucumber slices and have grape tomatoes and olives on the side. Munkers
I have an iffy relationship wtih eggs and don't usually add any kind of sauce or fat to them other than whatever they were cooked in. For me, it's much easier to get my fat in by adding it to my veggies. Or forget the eggs altogether and eat meat balls or some other leftover meat along with some mayo for dipping or another fat-based sauce like sunshine sauce. I would totally rock chicken satay for breakfast.

Whole30 Certified Coach littleg Posted May 21, 2015 Whole30 Certified Coach Share Posted May 21, 2015 Do you have access to good full fat coconut milk? This is my weakness on the W30... When you put it in the fridge it solidifies if its fatty enough... sooooo good on - well anything I often use it on berries but also put it on kobucha squash, sweet potatoes and even sometimes will use less fatty meat just so I "need" to add fat and will dip things like Asian meatballs, orange chicken and even breakfast sausage into it I buy Aroy D at the Asian markets near me. The "regular" cans used to solidify just fine then they got waterier so I started buying the coconut cream cans but now the regular ones seem to be back to normal. Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted May 21, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 21, 2015 While you don't want or need to skimp on fat, if you have a nice fatty sausage and eggs you may be ok without extra fat. If you're talking about a leaner sausage just use some cooking fat and scrape it out of the pan onto your meal.
