Pre/post work out idea

Pre-workout you want to focus on protein and fat. Hardboiled eggs are a good, portable option, but you might also like to do some kind of meat and mayo instead. Or you can do olives or avocado for some fat--maybe sliced chicken with some guacamole?

 

After your workout, your focus should be on lean protein and starchy carbs. You want food that your body can digest quickly which means avoiding fat for your post workout meal. (Fat slows digestion.) Try to focus on starchy vegetables and avoid fruit for this. Chicken breast and sweet potato is a pretty popular combination although some folk prefer tinned fish because it's easy to pack in a gymn bag.
