Tracy R.
My husband just invited friends over for Labor Day dinner tomorrow. It's suppose to be raining here all day, so no grilling. I have lots of chicken...chicken thighs, legs, whole cut up chicken and boneless breasts. What can I make that is not very difficult and won't knock me off my W30? I want to make cauliflower curry as a side dish. Any protein suggestions using chicken?
jhmomi
Baked chicken with BBQ sauce on the side (for them) and Sunshine Sauce (for you and anyone else that wants to try it), baked or roasted sweet potatoes, steamed veggies with ghee, a big salad with a homemade salad dressing. Fresh fruit for dessert for you. Add some whipped cream or ice cream for your guests. Not super exciting, but good solid food and easy peasy prep for you. Tiffani
You can still "grill" if you have a George Foreman or something like it?! Maybe do a chicken stirfry with jicama, snap peas, carrots, and broccoli. Sure is tasty!
Tracy R.
Dinner was a success! I ended up baking chicken seasoned with herbs de provence, curry cauliflower, green beans, sliced tomatoes, asian beef and broccoli (from ISWF) and fruit for desert. They loved the food and my friend wants to borrow my ISWF after my whole30 is over. I sent her to the blog in the mean time.
