Monroemi
I am chaperoning my son's band trip to 6 flags a week from Saturday. I will be riding a school bus with no access to keep a cooler in. Any suggestions on how not to go off plan and not starve???
GFChris
Can you bring an insulated lunch bag with compliant food?
MeadowLily
Compliant jerky, tuna &/or salmon packs, lemons, small container berries, celery/carrot sticks and if you're really desperate..those baby food foil packets. You could carry all of that in a large purse, fanny pack or small backpack.
Monroemi
The park only let's you bring in a bag. No outside food or drinks except a bottle of water. I could keep small items in a fanny pack but nothing large. I like the idea compliant jerky

I like the idea compliant jerky You can't take coolers into the park, but you could leave them in the bus in the parking lot and go back at lunch to eat there, just be sure you get your hand stamped or whatever it is they do these days to get access to get back in. When I was in school and we went to Six Flags on a physics day, we all left to go eat at a nearby Subway and then came back into the park, and I'm sure others do similar things. Talk to the teachers and other chaperones and see if that's going to happen, or if any others are planning on taking a picnic lunch that they'll go back out of the park to eat. There's probably at least a few people who would do that, you'd all just need to arrange with the bus driver to get access to your cooler at a certain time. Monroemi
I'm not sure the busses are staying but I will check. It would be easier with a cooler.
