HappyYogini
My breakfast this morning was a generous helping of velvet butternut squash and sausage patties. I feel a little silly asking this but does the fat in the sausage patties count as my fat for this meal? I don't have to worry about adding any? jmcbn
It depends on how fatty the sausage meat was, but I'd probably have added half an avocado or some olives just to be sure - don't fear the fat!
MeGA"gardener"
Add compliant oil either olive or coconut, ghee along with your yummy sounding breakfast
GFChris
If you're hungry before 4-5 hours pass, then I would advise you to add more fat. You want to create meals of protein, veg and fat that satiate you for 4-5 hours.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted May 15, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 15, 2015 The sausage probably has enough fat for you to be okay, but you can always add more. I had boiled eggs for breakfast this morning, but added an avocado with sauerkraut because I like the combination, not because I needed more fat. Tina Marie
glad you asked - because my M1 is similar to yours - and I always question if there is enough fat. (not sure I can eat olives at M1 !)
