gjkbickel
I'm on day 4 and I am worried because I am not have any symptoms. I did have a little bit of a headache d2-3, but that isn't uncommon for me. It's early today, but I woke feeling great. I was prepared to feel bad and I am sure I am doing something wrong because I am feeling fine. I really can't imagine what I would be overlooking. I am a stickler for rules! I wasn't eating a terrible diet before hand. No boxed foods, but plenty of pasta, breads, and grains of all types, and sugar....I love sugar! No sodas, yes to peanuts, and yes to dairy, a lot of cheese and yogurt. My husband has joined me on this journey, and mostly I am doing it for him. He said he does have a terrible headache today. I know this is wrong, but I am just so glad at least one of us is having a symptom. He also said that he has had to tighten his belt! Is that normal? Only having finished 3 days and needing to tighten his belt? We should have taken before pictures, but didn't..... Please, someone chime in and tell me it is normal to be symptomless! Munkers
Everyone's body is different and everyone's experience on the Whole30 will be different. You don't have to suffer in order to complete the program and, really, we hope that you don't! (That's why all the troubleshooting forums exist.) I'm not surprised at all that your husband is already tightening his belt. During my last Whole30, on day 2 or 3 I was up ALL NIGHT having to pee. My body was letting go of all the bloat and water weight it had been carrying. The next day, I already felt sleeker and lighter and my jeans were fitting better. kirkor
If electrolytes are on point then carb flu doesn't usually occur.
mdelesde
Hi gjkbickel, I am on day 4 today and the only thing I'm experiencing is a slight headache. Probably the sugar withdraw from my coffee. I gave up diet sodas on Wednesday last week before I started the whole30 Sunday. Maybe your body isn't going through as much of the withdraw process. I am hoping that sugar dragon stays away. So far I've kept free from any sugary stuff, ie, fruit. I don't want to get tempted. Hope your day 5 is going great! Michelle
