JulieP757
I really wanted to put some raisins in the yummy curried chicken salad I made today (roasted chicken, celery, apple, toasted pecans, homemade mayo and curry powder). I read the label of my favorite Fresh Market Chilean Dark Flame raisins and was horrified to find they contain partially hydrogenated soybean and/or cottonseed oil and may contain soy. What the heck?? Why do they need to ruin good raisins by adding that crap. Just had to vent. I had my mind set on raisins in my salad today
chezjulie
Ugh, I know. Robinson Crusoe just dried his in the sun. If it makes you feel better, your salad sounds amazing and I'm totally going to steal your recipe!
