evil_librarian
Day 1 (again). Meal 1: 1/2 of a medium sweet potato, steamed then sliced and pan fried in a little ghee with 2 eggs, scrambled and drizzled with olive oil. a iced cold brew coffee. Meal 2: Beef bone broth. Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness juice. **see notes below Meal 3: Gingerade Kombucha Notes: **I know that juice isn't encouraged but this has approved ingredients and I can't get solids down right now. On Monday I went to the doctor for a variety of reasons, one of which was for a sore throat. She took a look, did a strep culture (which was negative) and sent me home with a Z-pack. Today, I woke at 4 AM because of the sore throat which now included a lot of swelling in the back of my mouth and tongue. I left work early due to this. After a short nap I called the doctor about this change and she prescribed a steroid treatment and a visit to the ENT. The ENT took a look, said that I have severe tonsillitis and that it was a good thing that I came in when I did. He also recommended the steroids and gave me a stronger antibiotic. I go back on Friday for a follow up. So juice, broth and kombucha aren't the best but are W30 compliant and the best I can do right now.
