mdelesde
I've been nauseated for a few days since Day 12 or 13 and I don't know what is going on. The thought of food makes me sick. So naturally I've been eating smaller portions. Here's what I had for meals yesterday M1 - 3 scrambled eggs with onion and coffee on the side M2 - 2 cups of classic chili (from the whole30 book) with water M3 - 1/2 of the flat Iron steak marinated in Italian Vinaigrette (made from the Whole30 book) with 7 stalks of asparagus with water and watermelon slices with salt. I drink usually 3- 16.9 fl oz bottles of water a day. Today so far I have had... M1 - 2 fried eggs with salt and pepper with a 1/2 cup of coffee M2 - 2 cups of classic chil The chili actually makes me feel a bit better for some time but after a couple hours the nausea come back. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you. Michelle

mdelesde
I cook with Extra virgin olive oil and for breakfast sometimes I add green peppers. Maybe I need more? Though I don't really feel like eating at all.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted June 3, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 3, 2015 If peppers & onions are your veggie of choice, you might consider putting them aside for a few days and seeing if you do any better. Both of those can be really hard, digestively. Depending on what is in your chili you could be dosing yourself again with the peppers and onions. I don't think you are eating enough at all and excess hunger can cause nausea which can cause food aversion which can cause more hunger and the cycle goes on. Try some blended soups (Silky Gingered Soup or Golden Cauliflower Soup from Clothes Make the Girl). Try subbing out the eggs for something a bit more substantial in the morning like chicken or pulled pork or some pot roast. Roast up some veggies like carrots, brocoli, snap peas, green beans and some mushrooms and add about 2-3 cups of that to each meal.
mdelesde
Just thought I would update here too that I found out why I am nauseated all the time... I'm 8 weeks pregnant. I only made it to day 19 on the Whole30 but will try to eat healthier through the pregnancy. We will pick up the WHOLE30 next year! Thanks for all the comments!
