CatLady711
As I've been reading through the recipes in preparation of starting my first week on Whole30, I've noticed that a lot of the salads use the ranch dressing recipe and that the perfect protein salad uses mayo. Mayo is one thing I just can't eat, ever since I was a kid the smell alone makes me gag, and with ranch, I just don't like the taste (I know, I know, everyone thinks I'm crazy for that one). My question is, can I use oil and vinegar on all of salads instead of mayo or ranch?
SpinSpin
Absolutely! Just make sure your vinegar is compliant--no off plan ingredients. You can use different vinegars, different oils, herbs, mustard, lemon juice instead of the vinegar, citrus juices.. you are only limited by your imagination.
