I'm finding myself thinking about what I'm going to purchase to make my day 4 stretch into day 30. Finances are tight. Blah!
pinkdiamonds, yeah it can be tough! But it's so much cheaper in the long run! (^ ^)
True. My boot camp instructor, who is also a registered holisitic nutrionist always says, "pay now or pay later". I went to the local organic grocery store last night and purchase two grass-fed beef steaks, sweet potatoes, onions, and tomatoes. That was my dinner, so I'm still well on track.
Day 2, I'm feeling pretty worn out! I slept for over 10 hours last night and felt that I could've slept longer. The tiredness seems to be more from getting back to the gym than to the diet change...I'm sure that'll kick in soon though!
two eggs fried in ghee
half an avocado
ground beef burger with curry powder and lime juice (yum!)
mixed greens with spinach and swiss chard and balsamic vinegar
SeaSnax (dried seaweed)
chicken fried with coconut oil (reheated from last night)
Japanese sweet potato (Is this Whole30? I couldn't find a definitive answer on the forums here.)

Oy vey! Sleepy time. ((_ _))..zzzZZ
all varieties of sweet potato are a-ok.
Try adding veg to your breakfasts too
Thanks, Derval! I have trouble adding veggies to pretty much every meal. lol Despite being a vegetarian for over a decade, I never really got into eating a lot of vegetables (though I've taken blue green algae supplements most of my life). I have an aversion to tomatoes, onions, peppers, and celery and don't care much for many others. I make sure to get the veggies I like into lunch and dinner though! (^ ^)
Day 3, tired again today and reeeally wanting certain sugary foods which shall remain nameless, but still thinking positive! (^ ^)
chicken fried with coconut oil (reheated from the other night)
mixed greens with spinach and swiss chard and balsamic vinegar and olive oil
cashews and macadamia nuts
chorizo with scrambled eggs
green beans cooked in ghee
