Today is my start and I feel pretty empowered. Spent the weekend shopping and getting prepped. Thankfully I have the full support of hubby but I'm keeping mum with co-workers. Now I need to really get into Well Fed and get those recipes going. Good luck to all of you too!

Day 2! Right now I'm not finding this too difficult. Check back with me after the weekend! Preparation is the key. I almost packed leftover dinner to have for breakfast at work but thought "this isn't going to taste good with my morning coffee". So I really need to change my mindset on that. I'm worried about having enough variety. Meat and veg, meat and veg, meat and veg. Last night was one of the hot plates from Well Fed. It was yummy. Tonight is something on the grill with some sweet potato medallions and brocolli. Thank goodness for the recipe site also.

Where did the time go? Today starts day 14! Whoop-whoop!! Doing great and I've even overcome some challenging social situations. I've pretty much avoided eating at random restaurants with friends though. Thankfully that doesn't crop up too often so I should be in good shape and make it through and beyond..

Cooking, cooking and more cooking. I'm getting better at it and trying to be more organized. I need to work on this area a bit more. I'm subscribed to the daily e-mails and boy are they timely in their subject matter. In fact pretty spot on. Many have obviously been doing this awhile :)

Today's menu:

Breakfast: iced coffee w/coconut milk, hard boiled egg, sweet potato medallions

Lunch: chicken and roasted veggies

Dinner: TBD but will include kale

Thanks to all the great recipes on here and in Well Fed! All of them have been delicious!
