faithfit4
A few days a week, I will wake up at 5am to get a workout in. I have been trying to eat an egg before but usually not too hungry. Afterwards, I get ready for work and I am out the door in less than a half hr. I usually don't feel hungry right after and it is so close to my breakfast. I usually have eggs ( made with coconut oil) and a half of avocado for breakfast and bulletproof coffee. Is this too early to have all those fats? Or should I actually be adding a post-workout meal ( carb-dense?) and having a lighter breakfast? I usually do an hr of mixed HITT training/weights. Thank you (:
Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 5, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 5, 2015 By not eating lean protein (and no fat) immediately after a hard workout, you are abandoning your muscles to slower recovery and more soreness than if you actually ate a post-workout meal, then got ready, and then ate breakfast. We spell out what you should be doing in the meal planning template: http://whole30.com/downloads/whole30-meal-planning.pdfIt is exactly what we think you should be doing.
