sushifan
Fatigue is my number one food trigger (followed by loneliness or anxiety) - and nightttime is when I feel all of those things. My husband usually works late, and I'm home alone worrying about my daughter's medical issues. Any ideas for ways to cope? I know some of them are obvious (um, stay out of the kitchen and go to bed) but I'm mostly looking for commiseration and to hold myself accountable by making this post. Would love to hear if anyone else goes through this.
haas
I'm often hungry around 10-11 especially if my dinner was before 7pm (dinner works best for me when it's fairly large and between 8-9pm) and doubly so if I've worked out that day. Anyway, that happened last night so I had a small handful of walnuts and a leftover sausage patty. That late at night I avoid fruit even if I'm craving a sweeter taste. I think it messes with my sleep to have an apple or grapes that late.
Johnny M
many people say something like tea is enough to occupy them and distract from the food cravings. But also make sure it's not hunger because your dinner wasn't big enough!
