SaidtheBear
Hi everyone! I'm 27, live in Wisconsin, and am ready to get started with the Whole30 on June 28th. What do you recommend as must-haves to have on hand during that first week? I have tried many diets before but am looking to make this a permanent, healthy relationship to food. I'm nervous about starting, and I'm afraid of failing, and I'm concerned that I won't make it through the first week because my body LOVES sugar (even as my head hates it!). I know it's not hard...but it is!
allaluce
Hi there! I'm planning on starting on the 28th as well, though I need to plan a dental surgery that might throw me off. I'm 27 as well and though some weight loss wouldn't hurt, I'm really doing this to sort out chronic headaches and to develop and better relationship with food. I'm usually tired, don't have a lot of energy, and don't want to spend my whole life feeling this way. This will be my first time doing Whole30, so I don't have any words of wisdom to share. I'm not the best at self-control, so I'm looking forward to being part of a group that works together. I am planning on having some approved snacks on hand for at least the first week as I've always been someone who eats many smalls meals as opposed to 3 main ones. I hope to change this around, but I need to make this manageable for myself. I'm taking the week to clean things out, create my meal plan, and shop. Let's stay in touch!
