letsgiveitago
After breakfast today I had bad nausea and cramps. And again right now.. My meals looked like Breakfast - 3 fried eggs, ~cup roast sweet potato fries, a bit of banana with maybe 1/2 Tbs of almond butter and some blueberries (Bad cramps) Lunch- spinach salad with 1 boiled egg, sliced strawberries, sunflower seeds and lime juice and olive oil on top and a leftover tuna pattie and roasted sweet potato fries This is probably a big reason for the mess up.. A few dried figs afterward So then I was hungry before dinner and had a snack - not the most ideal but a small banana with almond butter and 1/2 tuna pattie.. Then the cramps hit again.. Now they are calming down. Too much fruit?

Moderators ShannonM816 Posted June 21, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 21, 2015 Is anything that you're eating now new for you? Or something that you're eating a lot more of now than you have before? When you're nursing, you should definitely eat more than three meals a day -- just go ahead and plan for a fourth meal. You are eating a lot of fruit, but I'm not sure if that would cause cramps and nausea. Wouldn't hurt to cut back on the fruit and up the vegetables. This probably hasn't been very helpful for you. I hope you feel better soon.
jmcbn
Is the nut better new? It's just that both times you had cramps you also had almond butter which can be hard on the digestive system.I agree with Shannon about the fruit/veg & suggest keeping a food log to see if there's any correlation between foods & symptoms.Hopefully you're feeling better today.
