fancynine
I finished my Whole 30 a month ago and felt so good I decided to change my lifestyle and continue with it. I still feel good but am very disappointed with my weight loss. I know we're not supposed to weigh ourselves, but I finally did and maybe have lost 10 lbs? After 2 months? I'm moderately active but can definitely do better. On the plus side, I can wear clothes that have not fit me for over a year. Any suggestions? missmary
Woah! 10 lbs in 2 months is perfection! Thats more than a pound a week which is a perfect sustainable rate of loss. Weigh yourself again 2 months from now (keep off the scale in the meantime) and keep your chin up. You are doing great!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 26, 2015 I never lost more than 2 pounds per month when I started in May 2010. I lost 2 pounds per month for 15 months in a row until I stopped losing weight. While I was losing fat, I got a lot stronger, so I probably added muscle. That means I probably lost more than 30 pounds of fat. The nice thing is that I still weigh 184 pounds, just as I did in 2011 when I stopped losing 2 pounds per month. Like Miss Mary said, you are doing great.
