newwhole30er
Actually, I want to make them with spinach, but are they compliant? Here's the recipe: http://stupideasypaleo.com/2015/03/28/paleo-zucchini-fritters/
Chachers04
Because of the coconut flour, you mean? I think that is compliant as it is a small amount and part of a recipe.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted June 29, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 29, 2015 Yes, these are compliant. Let us know how it works with the spinach.

No, because they're "pancakes." Does that rule only apply to sweet pancakes?
Administrators ladyshanny Posted June 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 29, 2015 The pancakes rule applies when you are making pancakes. A veggie patty (like these fritters) with a tiny bit of coconut flour to bind/reduce moisture would not be the same as an egg/banana pancake or a pancake made out of egg and coconut flour. EggSalad
That looks really good! I'm glad it's compliant, because I want to eat that! Thanks for posting!
Loulabelle
Is there anything that can be substituted for the eggs and still make a recipe like this work? I'm can't eat eggs and these look like a nice alternative way to eat veg.
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted June 30, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 30, 2015 Loulabelle, if you google "chia seeds in place of egg" I think you can find some substitutions. Haven't tried it myself.
