Drvicki
I am eating totally Whole30 and just reached day 30. Yay! I feel great and lost my cough which was a result of GERD. I have been enjoying the little loss of weight that I have felt, and I am not overweight. The last few days I feel like I have put back on a few pounds and if anything I am eating a bit less. I don't understand. Do our bodies get to a certain point and find equilibrium and not lose any more weight on this program?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 1, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 1, 2015 Our bodies do have a natural set-point where we will stop losing weight if we no longer benefit from losing weight. I lost weight for 15 months in a row and without changing anything related to my eating or exercise, I stopped losing weight in the 15th month. It is impossible to recognize such a development in the space of a few days. Our body weight can fluctuate several pounds in the course of a day or across several days related to changes in digestion, stress, sleep, etc.
Carlaccini
And also if you are near your period - where your hormones are in your cycle will affect you too.
