Cajun Gypsy's 3rd Whole 30

I completed my first whole 30 over a year ago - January 2014. It went really well, but life and bad habits got in the way and the bad habits came back, along with all the weight and then some. I have stuttered at doing additional whole 30's, and last October, started one, and lasted three weeks. It is really hard to change.

Today is Day 2 for me. Feeling kind of tired at this point, but it is bed time. Food-wise did pretty good. Had a salad with eggs and compliant bacon, and created a delicious Green Goddess dressing today, that is almost a blend of goddess dressing and sunshine sauce from Well Fed, had that with chicken and veggies for lunch. For dinner, had some stuffed peppers and zucchini.

I am so thankful I am hitting the long weekend just as the fatigue and fog hit. Food wise - I have been just fine, but I am so out of it today, slept horribly last night.

I have a massage scheduled for tomorrow, a bit of self-care goes a long way...

Sunday! Day 6 for me - and I am exhausted! Positives: I did great during a 4th of July barbecue, bringing my own chicken skewers and guacamole; I have had three days off to get through this rough patch; and my gut feels so much better already.

My "kill all the things" mood and exhaustion seemed to have merged into one three day period of emotional misery. I am hoping for a good night rest and some emotional feel goods tomorrow.

Also - today, I am starving. I had a good filling breakfast - huevos rancheros; lunch was a burger on a lettuce bun with avocado, and an hour after lunch, I was starving. I was actually light headed, I was so hungry! So I had some meat and mayo on a lettuce wrap and a handful of berries. Not sure what is up there.

But - I am doing it. 6 days in!
