Jenny B
I don't know why it did not post my content and posted several times. It was from my phone. Weird! Anyway, so frustrated. Was fixing dinner - pork green chili. All it is veggies and pork tenderloin. So yummy! Well just happened to look at the pork tenderloin label at it says dextrose. WTH? So I will not be eating the dinner I fixed but everyone else can. I just thought I would check the label since bacon etc has sugar, never thought a whole tenderloin would have one. My husband is like - this diet is stupid. Why can't you have the pork. UGH! Day 5 and irritated. Thanks for letting me vent.
Rebe_J
I understand your frustration. I see a lot of pork in the supermarket that contain "enhancements" to make it tender and to give it flavor. I figure it's factory farmed and doesn't have a good natural flavor. I don't often spend the extra for pastured pork, so I look for lean cuts without flavors added. I've had good luck at Costco with pork that's cut and wrapped by the onsite butchers.
Little_Ramona
At least you didn't eat it and then find out after the fact!! (Happend to me.) And good job sticking with your W30 and not eating it after all the prep and hard work. That is very impressive. #thebrightside
