Jeweljasper
Eleuthero - Siberian Ginseng https://www.sunchlorellausa.com/blog/benefits-eleuthero-king-among-herbs. Is in my tea. Is that OK? I tried searching the Forums for anyone else asking about it but I'm a bit of a Luddite.
jmcbn
The ginseng is fine - just watch for anything else that might not be compliant...
Jeweljasper
What worried me is a precursor "Siberian". Eleuthero is a Chinese herb called Siberian Ginseng so maybe not a real Ginseng. But it is a herb. Thoughts? Thanks! Ann
jmcbn
The 'Siberia' probably originates from the Scientist who discovered it's benefits:Famed as an energy tonic in China since ancient times, Siberian ginseng only gained recognition in the West in the 1950s, when a Russian scientist (I. I. Brekhman) reported its notable stress-repelling powers. Healthy men and women taking the herb were found to better endure physical strain, resist disease, and perform tests of mental sharpness. As I said before I'd just check the packaging for other ingredients.
